So, my car search continues on, and there is officially about a month left till I go and buy a car. So far, the main contestants are the Juke NISMO (yeah, it's still an option!) and a Dart GT. There is one more car that has joined the mix though...
Recently, I realized that CPO Volvos have THE BEST warranties out there. So, I went to check what my local dealer had in stock, and lo and behold, there's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ! For the money, this absolutely destroys both the Juke and the Dart. only problem is it's an Automatic, and I would love a stick... Do you guys think I should compromise on the Transmission choice to get an overall faster, comfier, cooler car?

No. I did that once, a while ago. I could have had a manual G35 coupe, and instead went with an auto 328xi coupe. I still regret it. Although the bimmer was the better car for sure, that manual would have been great.

How old are you? I would drive an auto Volvo s60 over a dart or juke every day of the week. The volvo is buy far the better car.

I'm 15, and this would be my first car. And yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. I'm just thinking about the "fun factor" of it.

Will Honda's HRV be out by then? Because it's definitely worth considering if you;re looking at the Juke.
Of course, a sedan and crossover are different classes and it might be worth better studying what you need.
The Dart GT is like an Abarth sedan, pretty much an Abarth with a muffler.
If you're close to Canada and can bring a car down from there, you should also consider the Micra, Rondo, B-class, and Mazda5 (up there you can still get a sunroof AND manual transmission, but down here they stopped offering that combo a couple years ago, so all new US sunroof 5's are auto-only), or a CPO B200 or CSX Type-S.

"better" is relative. If that is the car that most aligns with what you want in a car then go for it, but if not then don't do it. To me, you sounded the most excited about the nismo juke. If I were you, I'd get the juke. But then again it's not my money and I don't know what you value most of all in a car. I think the juke and dart will be a ton more fun to drive since volvo dials their non-R cars down quite a lot. It will also be very heavy and quite thirsty due to said weight. It will be very safe and a great cruiser though. So if you want a road trip car, the volvo is the better choice. For something fun to drive? I think you'd be happier with the other choices. And for something you can get passionate about and have fun exploring the world of cars with? You sounded like you liked the juke the most. I'd stick with the juke. Personally, I hated the dart so I'd only drive one if given one. But that's me. The Fiesta ST was everything I wanted in a car. Would a CPO volvo or mazda or infiniti or BMW been a "better" car? In some respects, yes. But they didn't have the same charm and eagerness and city driving prowess that the fiesta has. So I went with my FiST.

I would be curious on how the insurance on the Volvo compares to the other two. It is a more expensive car, but the safety features might make it comparable or cheaper.

I'd personally sacrifice a manual to have the better Volvo.
The Dart is a very good car though.

I'd love to but the reason why I'd go with a Volvo is the 7yr, 100K mile CPO warranty, among other reasons (*cough*myusername*cough*)
